APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY,,,,,,, HORSE SHOWS!!! Hope everyone is enjoying the recent nice weather we have had and using it to get their show horses ready for the Woolly Horse Show Circuit! It will be here before we know it. Are you in the barn every day brushing off all that winter hair? Riding daily or as often as the weather allows? Getting your clippers cleaned and oiled and blades sharpened? Feeding every supplement on the planet to get them to shed faster? If the answer is yes, then show season is upon us! The WYQHA will be holding a fund raiser steak fry on Saturday evening during the Woolly Horse Show Circuit so we hope all of you who go out to eat with friends on Saturday will stay at Camplex and enjoy the great food and friendship while helping the youth kids make some money for the year. I understand that a portion of these funds will be used to help the kids attend the AQHA Youth World Show so plan on doing your part and come to EAT! A huge thank you from all the youth kids to the Bailey family for donating the steaks and all the other food. What a generous thing to do for the youth members.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The showbill for the Woolly Horse Show Circuit is up on the showbill page. This show will be a change for us in the concept as Saturday and Sunday will be a split/combined format. Please check out the showbill to see what classes will be held on each of those 2 days. The classes will be double judged so you will still get 3 "shows" throughout the weekend. Friday will still be the entire slate of classes but we have gone so late the last 2 years that we had to make some changes. Hopefully this format will make this show less hurried and allow us all more time to catch up with one another. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The High Energy Circuit usually held in Douglas in July has been moved to Torrington, WY. Hopefully this change of venue will make showing in the heat of the summer much nicer for all exhibitors by taking advantage of the indoor arena and stall setup that Torrington offers. So don't forget - Torrington in July!!
