With our show season in full swing now, it seems appropriate to remind everyone to keep track of your points and compare them with the official points posted on the point page of the website.  The points listed are through the Woolly Horse Show Circuit.  If there are any questions or problems, please let John Sedgwick know as soon as  possible.

This coming weekend will be the Plains Quarter Horse show in Rapid City, SD.  Then the Black Hills Summer Circuit begins on Monday the 5th of July.  If you are planning to attend you need to be getting your stall reservations in as they fill up quickly.

Hoping everyone has a fun and safe 4th of July and we will see all of you in Rapid City on the 5th.

New Member welcomes are on the News and Shows Page along with the dates and locations of all the 2009 WQHA approved shows........no one even noticed that I forgot to put those dates up!  I really need all of you to be my proof readers and help me out when I forget something!!!

  Don't forget that your dues must be paid BEFORE any points are accrued!  Be sure that you note the  change in our membership rates which will be a great savings for all those members whose whole family shows!

We will no longer have additional fees for Amateur and Youth who show under a family membership.  Family memberships are now $35.  You must still list all amateur and youth members and their ages on your membership forms but you will only pay the family fee.  This should help in the costs for those members where the entire family is showing.  For any youth whose families are not members the fee will remain $15. This allows points to be earned in YOUTH classes only, not open classes.

We want to welcome Custom Creation Show Apparel to our shows.  Jenny and Terri will be at all the shows with new and consignment show clothing.  They will also take consignments so if you have things you are not using consider consigning them.

Membership Information

All memberships are for a family at a cost of $35.00 per year.  Membership includes a subscription to The Wrangler. Additional designations are Amateur and  Youth exhibitor. Be sure to include ages on your youth members and designate whether any amateurs are Select.  Points toward year-end awards will not count until your dues are paid.  Send your dues to John.
